Fun in the Sun Flare
I just finished a little photography workshop and it really helped me get used to using aspects of my camera that I didn't use to their fullest potential. Also, I learned a few tricks for working with harsh light and how fun it is to play with sun flare. I'm finding it a little addicting. . . or maybe it's just the sun I'm finding addicting, not having seen much of it for the past nine or ten months!

Kendra + Aron: Wedding Day Part 1
Prepare yourself for a very long post with LOADS of pictures. We ended up having about an hour and a half to take pictures on the temple grounds because some of the family got lost and we had to wait for them to get there to take family group photos. On the positive side, the scheduled rain held off for the whole time! Can't beat that!
It is a good thing I took a lot of group shots here, because I didn't get the chance to take many group family shots at the reception. . . which I will try and post tomorrow.

Kendra + Aron: Preparation
With a temple wedding ceremony starting at 10:00 a.m., 45 minutes away, Kendra's day started early--so did mine. Here are a few of my favorite shots at her home before leaving for the temple.
Next up. . . post ceremony pictures at the Portland LDS Temple.

Kendra + Aron: Bridals {& Groomals}
Kendra and Aron's wedding was Saturday, but we managed to squeeze in a bridal shoot the day before when the rain finally lifted after weeks of constant downpour. The clouds threatened, and it drizzled all morning, but we got a lucky window, and really, the dramatic sky made the pictures more interesting. For my first ever bridal shoot, and despite having to position Kendra and her dress on plastic every time we moved her to protect it from the soggy ground, I think it went rather well.
