Kendra & Aron: Engaged

Last month, soon after I took the girls to the farm, I was scheduled to take engagements of my friend Kendra and her fiance Aron.  I initially planned to take them up to Lewisville Park, but when I mentioned the farm they were all over going there instead.  So this is sort of "On the Farm: Take Two"--and it was just as fun the second time around.

They are getting married on Saturday!
Congratulations Kendra & Aron!

A Friendly Frolic at the Farm

A couple weeks ago I realized I hadn't taken pictures of my kids in a while just for the fun of taking cute pictures.  Plus, there is this farm for sale not far from my house that I wanted to use as the setting since no one lives there.

Hannah opted out last minute, however, so I took Signe and her friend Grace and spent an hour exploring the farm and snapping pictures.

I think they had almost as much fun as I did!

Wishful Thinking

We almost had a white Thanksgiving.  I think I will root for a white Christmas. . .

Hanging on to Autumn. . .

As I was out and about this weekend it became quite evident that the holidays are fast approaching.  From the looks of things in some locations, they are already upon us. So when I was looking back through my pictures at all the things I have neglected to blog about, I couldn't resist this one perfect fall day at Manna's house back in October.  Seems like yesterday rather than a month ago.

Leaving my worries behind. . .

I have almost two months of life to catch up on, but today I am going to live in the moment.  I put aside my pile of work and spent some time in the yard with my girl, my camera, and a whole lot o' leaves.  I haven't done that in a while.  It felt good.  And I really wanted to enjoy the truly great fall day before the rain sets in tomorrow.  My favorite time of year won't last much longer and I have been letting it slip by uncelebrated.  So here is my mini celebration of autumnal color and faces too cute NOT to photograph.

This kind of fun will ALWAYS attract company!

Happy Autumn
