On the First Day of Christmas. . .

This one is kind of cheating because it doesn't actually relate to what we did for our first day of Christmas activity.  But I think it's not too hard.  Can you guess what it is?

I am going to wait and reveal the answers at the end of each week.  I know you are looking, so give me a guess!

25 Days of Christmas - Up Close and Personal

I do 25 days of Christmas with my girls in the days leading up to Christmas.  So, I thought it would be fun to take pictures of whatever project we are working on--in up close detail--and post them. Can you guess what they are?  For hints on what we are doing, check out my other blogs.  Technically we haven't done the first day yet, but we did something last night to start the season, so here is a dry run:

Paperwhites

I just planted my Christmas Paperwhites.  It is a tradition in our home.  They go with my white and red and silver decor.  There is something special about white flowers blooming during the holidays that just makes the atmosphere festive.  Anyway, it reminded me of these pictures I took last year when my Paperwhites bloomed.  These are a few of my favorite.  I will have to see what I get this year and post some in December.

Tribute to Autumn. . .

The rain has commenced.  The fall color lasted for so long this year, because the rain did not arrive as early as normal to beat all those lovely leaves off the trees. But, at long last, it has come.  So here is a little tribute to the wonderland I have been living in for weeks.  I took my camera everywhere with me and did numerous drive by shots.  Farewell Autumn. . .
