This nest, that we found in a dead pine tree in the yard, made me think of the time and effort we put into getting our house just the way we like it.

Photography has been a growing passion of mine in recent years. In large part because when I started having children I felt the need to document their lives as they zipped by me. I did not want to forget a moment of it! Then I found taking pictures was just fun. Now I take pictures anytime, anywhere, and of anything.
I make no claims to be a professional--I'm just having fun and thought I'd share.

I was going to comment on the hydrangeas, but did not see a place to do so. So here it is...
I also have a Rebel XTi, also have the Canon Macro 100mm. It is VERY sensitive. You are more limited with it than with the standard lens set to macro. With the actual Macro lens you could not have photographed these hydrangeas, half would have been blurred. Not to say I am sorry I bought it, but it has been a real learning experience.
