Photography has been a growing passion of mine in recent years. In large part because when I started having children I felt the need to document their lives as they zipped by me. I did not want to forget a moment of it! Then I found taking pictures was just fun. Now I take pictures anytime, anywhere, and of anything.
I make no claims to be a professional--I'm just having fun and thought I'd share.
I went for a walk today with the girls and the dog. Luckily I remembered to grab the camera and snap a few pretty pictures of spring blossoms in my neighborhood. At least no one came out to ask why I was taking pictures of their trees and flowers.
There is certainly something magical about the sun shining on the flowers and the bees buzzing all around. My daughter would say the bees don't add to the ambiance, but I find the sound soothing--so long as they keep their distance. This busy bee was too preoccupied to care when I didn't keep mine, however:
I spent the weekend working in my yard. The sun was shining, the bees were buzzing, and the flower were blooming. I drug the camera out for pictures of the raised vegetable gardens we are putting in, but I kept getting distracted by all the pretty flowers. I've missed taking pictures of things other than my kitchen remodel!
